Ok, so I was going over this like attracts like apparent dilemma. This is the way I see it.
When people talk about Universal Laws and the Law of Attraction as one of them, I think they are bundling together different things in an attempt to explain how we attract everything into our lives and for the most part, superficially thinking that it only applies to what a person consciously manifests.
To me, this is like saying a law only applies sometimes in nature
and then can be turned off like a switch.
I think a deeper understanding and explanation of this is that there is a Universal Law of Vibration which essentially states that ‘everything in our universe is made of energy and that everything vibrates’.
The like attract like principle really comes into play when two or more things are ‘tuned in’ at the same or similar frequency. These same or similar frequencies resonate with each other and as such, are attracted to each other at this quantum or energetic level.
Notice, this is at the quantum level of the energy field that is our universe. It is through resonance that the attraction principle is working at the quantum level of nature.
There is also this amazing gift we humans have, of a conscious mind and the free will to choose. This gift allows us, via the thoughts of our own mind, to actually manage our own vibration.
Which brings me again to this ‘like attracts like’ principle and the law of the mind which is called the Law of Attraction. This law of the mind states that ‘thoughts that are emotionalised, become magnetised and attract to them similar and like thoughts’.
That to me, is what comes to my mind whenever I hear the Law of Attraction phrase being used. It shows how we can get in prolonged emotional patterns (desireable or undesireable) with the stories our ego mind can run. This is just one law of the mind of six laws governing our thought dynamics. This one law on it’s own does not explain how we attract what we do into our lives. The way the phrase has been thrown around since the hit of “The Secret” suggest otherwise.
The deeper understanding that I wish to convey today is that the energy of our thoughts is constantly impacting the quantum field of energy that is the whole universe! This is how I believe we attract everything into our life, this is how our thoughts become our reality. If we, with the energy of our thoughts, were not connected to this quantum field of energy, then this whole idea that we create our reality would have no basis in quantum physics.
In summing up:
When it comes to creating our reality, the basis of our understanding comes from what we know of the universal Law of Vibration and a law of the mind called the Law of Attraction. The Quantum Physics understandings brings an overall clearer picture as to their relationship through the quantum Law of Resonance. This is an altogether deeper picture of how the universe works and of how we can, and do constantly interact with it, on a quantum or energetic level, to create our reality

Lets continue to look at this Law of Attraction phrase and what appears to be the mass minded understanding of those new to the concept about how we create our own reality.
Remember this explosion into more mass awareness via the internet has come about mostly on the back of the success of “The Secret” and the secret was said to be this Law of Attraction so it does deserve more looking at.
It seems to me the common description I hear from most people is that this is a universal law stating like attracts like. But you only have to come up with a few examples of relationships with people where you see the seemingly opposite attracted to each other – so how would you explain the apparent dilemma with this law that is supposed to govern all ?
Magnetic poles that are alike actually repel each other as anyone can clearly see and the opposites attract in that example. So how does one that says the Law of Attraction is about like attracting like, explain this ?
Obviously there is more to this than meets the eyes, so to speak. Or, maybe there is more to this than is meeting the conscious understanding of anyone saying simplistically it is just “like attracts like”.
I firmly believe we create our experiences in our reality. However, my own understanding that we are the cause of everything that happens to us, is based in the thought dynamics of our mind creating our outer world.
The mind works in such a way that there are laws that govern these dynamics. Law of Attraction is just one such law of the mind. Notice I did not use the notion of universal law. That to me is an important distinction for what the phrase “Law of Attraction” means to me.
The like attracts like principle is at play within our mind.
In coming days I will state what this law of the mind is and address what I really think is a universal law. Hopefully that can remove any possible confusion to anyone reading this as to how all this comes together in forming the reality we each experience as our own world.
