This is a mind power technique taught by John Kehoe.
This technique is taught with the analogy of our mind like a garden.
If we plant seeds in a garden and nurture them we expect them to grow.
If we neglect a garden, weeds can also grow.
Hence cultivating our mind like a garden tends to lead towards harvesting more of that which we like to see show up in our life.
We reap what we sow is what this is all about.
The seeding technique is really honing in on the feelings of that which we wish to experience with whatever we chosen to manifest.
The idea of this technique is to focus on the feelings by claiming in our inner world what we are deciding is for us to manifest in our life.
Where the visualization technique hones in on the images to see on the inner screen of our mind, the seeding technique hones on the feelings and very importantly to feel those feelings in the now, we seed with those feelings of already having it. This means working or playing in the feeling of emotions of that we have chosen as our outcome. We go with the feelings of having it. It is already happened so playing out the type of emotions of joy and happiness that reflect having achieved the dream or goal.
As John Kehoe writes in his book
“Whatever your personal reaction, feel it in your guts and make those feelings a part of you. Live in the certainty that you already have the thing that you want.”
This is in essence claiming it in our inner world first.
This goes to the heart of understanding that all manifesting is born with the inner world. This is the field the creation process starts and the outer world reflects what has been nurtured , nourished and tended to with feeling and repitition. When we cultivate the garden of our mind in this way then growth takes place and results produced just like a harvest. Whether we neglect or cultivate in this field of ours, the inner world must and will bring forth results in our life. Are they what we really want ?
What seeds are we planting in our inner world ?
John Kehoe suggest we have seeding technique be part of our mind power practices and it is a five-minute burst of energy that we create for ourself regularly.
I played with this technique myself tonight before I typed this blog entry out. I followed what John Kehoe writes about this technique because I had not been feeling as connected or effective with my own mind powers when I been working with the visualization techniques in recent times. In his book John explains that :
“Unlike visualization, in seeding you are primarily concerned with the feeling of whatever it is you are visualizing.”
This is how I approached the focus of my 5 minutes of working with my inner world. I was honing in on the feelings and at moments visuals would consciously be in my mind but the focus for me was the feelings and whatever images happened were a by-product of what I was feeling.
To sum up this technique John Kehoe says ” Regularly seed the feeling that you already have whatever it is that you want. It’s yours. Live it. Vibrate with it. Exalt and thrill with it. Claim it, absolutely as yours. Take possession of it in the inner world. “
I hope you enjoy playing with this tool in the fertile soil of your own mind.
May you reap a bountiful harvest in your outer world.
